Sterile Processing Operating Room Technician in Rochester, MI

Schedule/Hours:

• 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (two positions available)
• 11:00 pm – 7:30 am (one position available)

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Certified in Sterile Processing Tech—current certification required
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Completion of BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and consistent attendance record
• Ability to follow directives and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent interpersonal abilities
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training to enhance skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and distributed to support patient care
• Adhere to established protocols to maintain facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet instrument and supply needs efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, equipment usage, and inventory
• Participate in quality assurance activities and report equipment concerns
• Demonstrate adherence to safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies
