Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST, CBSPD, or equivalent required)
  • Proven experience in a healthcare environment, with specific skills in cleaning, inspecting, wrapping, and sterilizing medical instruments
  • Comprehensive understanding of infection control standards and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management capabilities
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other clinical and support staff

Schedule/Hours:

  • Position is contract-based with schedule details to be provided during the interview process

Role Responsibilities:

  • Process, sterilize, store, and distribute surgical instruments and medical supplies in accordance with established guidelines and protocols
  • Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including steam, gas, and low-temperature sterilizers
  • Conduct routine quality assurance checks on products, equipment, and records to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of all processed instruments and equipment
  • Support operating room and clinic teams by ensuring timely availability of sterile supplies
