Qualifications:

• Experience as a Sterile Processing Technician in a healthcare or hospital setting
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (required)
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of current sterilization practices
• Effective communicator; collaborative spirit when working with clinical and surgical teams

Responsibilities:

• Clean, assemble, package, disinfect, and sterilize all surgical products for operating rooms, ER, delivery units, and other departments
• Document and monitor sterilization processes (including steam, ETOH, Sterrad, and high-level disinfectants) per industry standards
• Anticipate and fulfill instrumentation needs for scheduled procedures; assemble and prepare case carts to match surgeon preference cards
• Receive and stock supplies while maintaining correct par levels and rotating stock as needed
• Partner with surgical specialty teams to guarantee the right supplies, equipment, instruments, and implants are available for each procedure
