Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment with flexible scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and package all surgical instruments and products for inpatient, outpatient, ER, OR, Delivery Room, and satellite locations
• Document and oversee all sterilization processes, including but not limited to steam, ETOH, Sterrad, and high-level disinfectants, ensuring compliance with standards
• Anticipate and meet the instrumentation needs of surgical teams; assemble procedure-specific case carts for upcoming cases
• Collaborate with surgical specialty teams to ensure all patient-supplied needs are available and timely
• Receive, unpack, shelve, and rotate supplies while maintaining appropriate stock and par levels with best-practice sterile supply management
• Prepare case carts according to surgeon preference cards, coordinating supplies, equipment, instruments, and implants

Desired Experience / Qualifications:

• Current Sterile Processing Technician certification
• Experience as a Nursing – Sterile Processing Tech or equivalent preferred
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with sterilization standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and surgical teams
