Key Qualifications:

  • Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) or eligible for certification
  • Excellent knowledge of perfusion technology, equipment, and protocols
  • Proven experience supporting open-heart procedures

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and infection control

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor heart-lung machines and related equipment during surgeries
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to provide seamless patient care
  • Maintain constant assessment of patient vital signs and respond as needed to changing conditions
  • Prepare equipment and verify readiness prior to procedures, conducting routine checks and calibrations
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of perfusion activities throughout procedures
  • Adhere to strict protocols for infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality
  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the surgical team
