Clinical Pharmacist - Adin, CA

A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract assignment at a medical center located in Northern California. This role involves providing expert pharmacy services in a healthcare setting, ensuring safe and effective medication use, and collaborating with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and regulatory standards.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication therapy management and patient counseling.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize pharmaceutical care.
• Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current state pharmacy license.
• Experience in clinical pharmacy within a hospital or medical center setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy, and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including some weekends.

Schedule/Hours:

• Varied weekday schedules with options of 5 shifts of 8 hours or 4 shifts of 10 hours.
• Includes some weekend shifts.
