Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts, primarily first and second shifts
- Flexibility to work occasional third shifts as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services, collaborating closely with medical and nursing teams
- Ensure accuracy and safety in medication management and administration
- Participate in operational pharmacy tasks and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the hospital setting
- Demonstrate readiness for a competency examination as part of the hiring process to confirm clinical proficiency
- Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory policies throughout the contract-to-permanent transition
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active pharmacist licensure with credentials suitable for inpatient care settings
- PGY1 residency preferred; alternatively, approximately two years of current inpatient pharmacy experience
- Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to undergo a competency exam and background checks as part of the onboarding process
