Clinical Pharmacist - Anaheim, CA

Join a leading outpatient oncology infusion team in the Los Angeles area seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist with strong chemotherapy and IV expertise for an immediate contract opportunity. This role provides an exciting chance to support oncology patients by ensuring safe and accurate preparation and verification of chemotherapy medications within a top healthcare setting.

Location:

• Los Angeles area with multiple sites, including Anaheim, CA
• Flexible deployment across LA metro locations as needed

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and check intravenous (IV) chemotherapy preparations in an outpatient oncology infusion setting
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 standards for sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure medication safety and effective patient care
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and communication

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with clinical experience
• Solid background in chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy practices
• Expertise in IV admixtures and stringent sterile compounding procedures
• Familiarity with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines
• Prior experience working in outpatient oncology infusion preferred
• Comfortable working with EPIC or similar electronic medical records systems
