Clinical Pharmacist in Anderson, SC

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient care in a hospital setting. This 13-week contract role offers the chance to directly impact patient outcomes by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Anderson, SC
Schedule: 8-hour shifts within 8:30 am to 6:30 pm pharmacy hours
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders, focusing on critical medications and drips
• Manage and oversee controlled substances with strict adherence to regulatory standards
• Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of pharmacy practice
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Utilize Epic or similar electronic health record systems to document and manage medication therapy

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina pharmacist license required
• 1 to 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred; candidates with strong inpatient expertise and minimal onboarding requirements are highly valued
• Familiarity with critical care medications, intravenous drips, and controlled substance management essential
• Experience with Epic is considered a strong plus
• Ability and willingness to complete 1-2 full days of training modules prior to start
