Clinical Pharmacist | Anderson, South Carolina

An inpatient hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity in the Greenville, SC area. This position involves working closely with medical teams to support high-quality patient care within an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong hospital experience and clinical expertise to manage complex medication therapies.

Location: Greenville, SC
Schedule: 8-hour shift within pharmacy hours from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee medication management, including high-risk drips and critical care medications
• Ensure compliance with controlled substance regulations and quality assurance protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmacotherapy plans
• Participate in training modules and stay current on clinical pharmacy practices
• Utilize electronic medical records (Epic experience preferred) for accurate documentation and order verification

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid South Carolina Pharmacist License
• Minimum 1-5 years of hospital inpatient pharmacy experience (strong experience preferred due to limited training time)
• Familiarity with critical care medication administration and management
• Experience with quality assurance and controlled substances handling
• Willingness to complete 1-2 full days of training modules prior to starting
