Clinical Pharmacist in Arvada, CO

An outpatient/ambulatory infusion pharmacist position is available on a 13-week contract starting 9/28. This role focuses on supporting oncology and infusion patients through order review, dispensing, and verification of hazardous and non-hazardous medications.

Shift:

• 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for infusion therapies, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Dispense hazardous and non-hazardous medications, particularly related to oncology treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and therapy outcomes
• Utilize EMR system (EPIC) for documentation and medication management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of infusion pharmacy experience required
• Experience with chemotherapy regimens is a strong plus
• Valid Colorado pharmacy license in good standing
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system preferred
