Clinical Pharmacist in Arvin, CA

This opportunity is for a full-time Compounding Pharmacist specializing in both sterile and non-sterile preparations. The role is based in Arvin, CA, with the assignment extending through July 2026 and the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.

Responsibilities include overseeing compounding processes, performing final prescription verifications, and preparing medications accurately by filling, labeling, and prepackaging. The pharmacist will also engage directly with healthcare providers to clarify orders or process refills and counsel patients to ensure proper medication use. Adherence to USP standards (795, 797, 800) and Board of Pharmacy regulations is essential for compliance and patient safety.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM
• Full-time through July 2026

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• PharmD or BS degree in Pharmacy
• Active California Pharmacist license
• 3–5 years of pharmacy experience, with a preference for compounding expertise
• Strong communication and organizational skills
