We are hiring a Clinical Hospital Pharmacist for a high-impact assignment supporting a facility during a Meditech to EPIC EMR conversion. This role is ideal for pharmacists with strong inpatient experience who are confident working in a fast-paced clinical environment and comfortable navigating system transitions.
Start: ASAP
Duration: Through 8/15/2026 (flexible based on start date)
Schedule
Rotating day/evening shifts (40 hours/week)
Start times: 6:30 AM or 8:00 AM (Monday – Friday)
Rotating weekends: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Verify, prepare, and dispense medication orders accurately
- Maintain and manage patient medication profiles within EPIC
- Perform sterile compounding including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and TPN
- Monitor drug therapies for safety, interactions, and appropriate dosing
- Provide pharmacokinetic dosing and antibiotic stewardship support
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff on therapy decisions
- Identify and report adverse drug reactions
- Support formulary management and cost-effective medication use
- Document clinical interventions and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with staff education and onboarding during EMR transition
- Participate as a member of the Code Response Team
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Pharmacist license (required)
- EPIC experience
- Meditech experience preferred
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Strong inpatient clinical experience including IV compounding and pharmacokinetics
- Flu vaccine required
