This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist seeking a rewarding role on the night shift with a well-established healthcare facility on California’s Central Coast. The schedule is 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, providing a balanced work-life rhythm to support your personal and professional needs. This position is a 13-week contract with a potential for extension and requires an immediate start.

The role centers on providing clinical pharmacy services during night hours, with duties encompassing order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care. You will also engage in pharmacokinetic evaluations, contributing your expertise to enhance medication management and patient outcomes. Experience with Cerner and Omnicell systems is essential.

Key qualifications and experience include:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in clinical pharmacy procedures and collaborative patient care
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy information systems
• Strong communication and supervisory skills
