Clinical Pharmacist in Auburn, WA

This clinical pharmacist position offers an opportunity to support key inpatient pharmacy functions with a focus on order verification, clinical consultation, and medication distribution. The role is especially well-suited for a pharmacist with some chemotherapy or oncology experience, enhancing the ability to manage complex drug therapies.

Location: Auburn, WA
Job Type: Contract (16 weeks+; potential Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule: Variable days and afternoons, 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using Epic and conduct final product verifications
• Provide clinical drug information and answer questions to support healthcare teams
• Oversee pharmacy technician activities to ensure efficient workflow and accuracy
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations as a clinical resource
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis for order management and inventory control

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with current credentials
• Experience with clinical pharmacy practices in an inpatient setting
• Preferred: Some chemotherapy or oncology pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Epic and other pharmacy IT systems
