Clinical Pharmacist - Auburn, Washington

This position is for a Clinical Pharmacist located in Auburn, WA, available on a contract basis with a potential to transition to permanent employment after 16 weeks. The schedule includes variable days and afternoons, with 8-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support distribution functions within the inpatient pharmacy
• Verify medication orders using Epic
• Perform final product verification checks
• Respond to clinical questions and provide drug information
• Oversee pharmacy technician activities
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response protocols
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with current credentials
• Experience with chemotherapy and oncology medications is highly preferred
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Comfortable responding to emergency situations in the hospital setting
