Clinical Pharmacist | Aurora, Illinois

A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available for a contract assignment beginning mid-June at a major medical center. This role focuses on overnight inpatient pharmacy responsibilities and requires working four 10-hour overnight shifts weekly from 9 PM to 7:30 AM for a duration of 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including checking and verifying medication orders
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Verify and check intravenous (IV) medication preparations
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and order verification

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of one year recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience required
• Familiarity with inpatient pharmacy workflows and policies
• Proficiency in using EPIC electronic medical record system highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently overnight

Schedule:

• 4 nights per week, 10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
