Clinical Pharmacist in Aurora, IL

A 13-week contract position is available for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in inpatient care. This role requires working overnight shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, four times a week, with each shift lasting 10 hours.

Responsibilities include performing typical inpatient pharmacy duties such as medication checking and verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and overseeing intravenous (IV) medication preparation and verification. Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system is essential for this role.

Candidates should have at least one year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience to ensure competency in the demanding and fast-paced hospital environment.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Experience in supervising pharmacy technicians
• Strong skills in medication verification and IV checks
