A full-time opportunity is available for a Compounding Pharmacist in Bakersfield, CA, offering a contract role through July 2026 with the possibility of permanent placement. This position focuses on ensuring the safe and accurate preparation and verification of compounded medications within a dynamic pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities include overseeing both sterile and non-sterile compounding processes, performing final prescription verifications, and filling, labeling, and prepackaging medications for patient use. The pharmacist will serve as a vital communicator by collaborating with healthcare providers for order clarifications, refills, and counseling patients effectively. Strict adherence to USP standards 795, 797, 800, along with Board of Pharmacy regulations, is essential to maintain compliance and safety within the practice.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM
• Full-time through July 2026

Desired Qualifications:

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
• Active California Pharmacist license in good standing
• 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience, with compounding expertise preferred
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
