A full-time Compounding Pharmacist opportunity is available in Bakersfield, CA, through July 2026 with potential for permanent placement. This role focuses on sterile and non-sterile compounding within a clinical pharmacy setting, requiring attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes to ensure quality and safety
• Perform final verification of prescriptions before dispensing
• Fill, label, and prepackage medications accurately
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding orders, clarifications, and refills
• Counsel patients on medication usage and address their questions
• Maintain compliance with USP 795, 797, 800 standards and state Board of Pharmacy regulations

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM
• Full-time assignment through July 2026

Qualifications:

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree
• Active California Pharmacist license
• 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience, with a preference for compounding expertise
• Strong communication skills and excellent organizational abilities
