Clinical Pharmacist - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

A healthcare facility in the New Orleans area requires a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract beginning June 2. This role focuses on providing expert pharmaceutical care within the Cardiovascular ICU and Medical ICU2, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services to critically ill patients in CV ICU and Medical ICU2.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement medication therapy plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust medication regimens as necessary.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and communication.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Critical Care/Clinical Pharmacist with Level 1 trauma exposure.
• PGY-2 residency preferred but not mandatory.
• Licensed pharmacist in Louisiana with license in hand.
• Board certification is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required.
• Open to first-time travel pharmacists.

Location:

• Baton Rouge, LA (worksite near New Orleans/Metairie).

Schedule:

• Day shift, 7 AM to 3 PM, every other week.
