Position Details

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks+ (possible temp to hire)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM–9 PM
• Weekends: Rotating weekends
• Setting: Inpatient hospital
• Hospital: 131-bed facility, approximately 60–70 active beds
• Order Entry: Epic
• Automation: Pyxis

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient pharmacist duties
• Review and verify medication orders
• Support safe and accurate medication distribution
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy and hospital teams
• Provide second-shift coverage and rotating weekend support

Requirements

• Active Louisiana Pharmacist license
• Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• Pyxis experience preferred; training available
• Epic experience preferred; training available
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
