Clinical Pharmacist in Bellefonte, PA

This opportunity is for a Pharmacist position in a hospital setting supporting a community hospital with approximately 150 beds. The role requires a Pennsylvania-licensed pharmacist with at least one year of inpatient experience, available full-time. The position is contract-based and expected to last 5 to 6 months or longer, with a start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Consulting with physicians and other healthcare staff to provide clinical expertise
• Utilizing hospital IT systems such as Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis for medication management and documentation

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Meditech is highly preferred, as is experience with PharmacyKeeper and Pyxis systems
• Flexibility to work variable day and afternoon shifts, with some scheduling flexibility
