Clinical Pharmacist | Bellefonte, Pennsylvania

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to serve as a unit-based clinical specialist working across the Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role provides a unique chance to broaden clinical expertise by rotating through multiple specialized units, including participation on the antibiotic stewardship team, rather than being confined to a single floor such as the ICU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medication order entry and verification alongside medication profile reviews to ensure clinical appropriateness
• Deliver clinical pharmacy services tailored to patient populations in the ED and ICU
• Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds and provide drug information as needed
• Conduct drug therapy monitoring or pharmacist-managed consults following established protocols
• Respond actively to acute patient scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma cases

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
• PGY1 residency or a minimum of 3 years current clinical pharmacy experience
• Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure
• Experience with Meditech preferred but not required

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons with primarily 8-hour day shifts

This role offers an annual compensation ranging from $108,000 to $169,000, with a midpoint of $139,000. Relocation assistance may be available based on individual circumstances.
