Position Overview: This unit-based Clinical Pharmacist position involves medication order entry and verification, comprehensive medication profile review, and providing clinical services tailored to patient needs. You will actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds and teams, perform drug therapy monitoring, and engage in pharmacist-managed consults per protocol. In the ED and critical care settings, involvement in acute scenarios like cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma is a key component.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) residency or a minimum of three years clinical pharmacy experience
  • Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain licensure (out-of-state candidates encouraged to apply)

Schedule:

  • Primarily 8-hour day shifts with some variable afternoon shifts

Technology:

  • Experienced with Meditech electronic health record system preferred
