Clinical Pharmacist | Bellevue, Nebraska

This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist to support a rehab hospital environment focused on specialized care such as TPN management and IV antibiotic therapy. The role emphasizes providing expert pharmaceutical care to patients primarily on the rehab unit, with an average of 3 hours patient interaction per shift. Candidates should be able to quickly adapt and contribute to the team’s clinical operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) preparation and monitoring
• Overseeing IV antibiotic protocols and administration
• Collaborating closely with rehab unit staff to optimize patient medication regimens
• Utilizing the Altera Sunrise system for medication order processing (training available)
• Participating in weekend rotations and providing coverage on Saturdays

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacy License required
• Clinical pharmacist experience, preferably with TPN and IV antibiotics exposure
• Strong ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a specialized setting
• Comfortable with electronic health record systems; willingness to learn Altera Sunrise

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday standard shifts
• Saturday coverage 8 AM – 4 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts required

• Primary role based in Bellevue, NE
• Additional openings currently available in Omaha, NE
