This Clinical Infusion Pharmacist opportunity focuses on home infusion services, providing specialized clinical oversight within a dynamic healthcare setting. The role is based in Seattle, WA, and offers a contract-to-hire engagement starting immediately, with an initial 13-week period.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide clinical oversight for infusion therapies, including specialty medications, biologics, antimicrobials, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and compounded sterile preparations.
- Assess patient-specific therapy plans and monitor outcomes to optimize treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to support medication management and recommend therapy adjustments.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- Licensed pharmacist in Washington State with a clear and active license.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical pharmacy experience; home infusion experience highly preferred.
- Proven expertise in clinical settings handling inpatient IV therapies, home infusion, TPN, vancomycin, biologics, and sterile compounding.
- Experience working with complex patients or rare disease populations is a significant advantage.
- Must be local to Seattle, WA, or willing to relocate.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, starting as soon as possible.
