Travel Clinical Pharmacist in Belt, MT

A healthcare facility in Great Falls, MT is seeking an Interim Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership and management oversight of pharmacy services. This travel position offers the opportunity to stabilize and guide a small pharmacy team while advancing important projects that impact patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Director of Pharmacy and assume the role of Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
• Manage a staff of 2-3 pharmacists, providing leadership, coaching, and direction
• Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices
• Lead key initiatives including clean room renovation and medication technology IT projects
• Conduct financial analysis and support infusion center operations
• Foster a professional environment focused on quality and team stability

Qualifications:

• Montana pharmacist license required
• Experience in hospital pharmacy management required
• Background working with outpatient clinics and surgical hospitals preferred
• Strong leadership capabilities with proven ability to manage a small pharmacy team
• Skilled in project management and financial analysis within pharmacy services

Schedule & Location:

• Great Falls, Montana
• Coverage from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call responsibilities

This assignment is anticipated to last at least 3 months, starting immediately, until the position is permanently filled. The facility utilizes Touchpoint automation for pharmacy operations.
