Clinical Pharmacist in Bernalillo, NM

As a clinical pharmacist, you will play a vital role in optimizing patient medication therapy, ensuring safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams in a fast-paced setting with a 315-bed capacity.

Location:

• Bernalillo, New Mexico

Schedule/Hours:

• 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Shift starts at 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage medication therapy for inpatients
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide expert pharmaceutical care
• Monitor patient responses and adjust medications as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in clinical rounds and provide drug information as requested

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in inpatient pharmacy practice
• Active New Mexico pharmacist license required
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
