A hospital located just outside South Bend, IN, is seeking two inpatient pharmacists to join their team for a 13-week contract starting June 1. This opportunity involves working in an inpatient pharmacy setting with two day shift options available: 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM and 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification using Cerner Meds Manager in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Manage inpatient pharmacy distribution services, including IV room preparation
• Handle hospital-based medications such as IV antibiotics, IV anticoagulants, and IV electrolytes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and Cerner Meds Manager order verification required
• Experience with Pyxis and Pharmacy Keeper systems preferred
• Familiarity with inpatient hospital pharmacy workflows and medication preparation
• New graduates are welcome if they have Cerner order verification experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
