An opportunity is available for a Float Clinical Pharmacist Operations Specialist to work full-time on day shifts. This role is based in Tulsa, OK, and offers a direct hire position within a dynamic hospital environment focused on advancing patient care through operational excellence and clinical expertise.

About the Role:
The Clinical Pharmacist Operations Specialist oversees daily operations of specialized pharmacy practice areas such as the IV room, diversion/narcotics management, informatics, and residency programs. This role ensures that policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and followed while providing pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when needed. The specialist will coordinate upgrade testing, deliver education and training, and act as a subject matter expert. Additionally, precepting pharmacy students and residents is a core responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operational specialty pharmacy areas within the department
- Provide pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist
- Support users, perform maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot issues
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures
- Coordinate testing and training initiatives
- Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Completion of PGY-1 residency or fellowship; PGY-2 residency/fellowship preferred OR 3+ years clinical experience (if no PGY-2) OR 5+ years clinical pharmacy experience without residency/fellowship
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacist license in good standing
- BLS and ALS/ACLS certifications
- Additional training or certifications related to sterile compounding or specialty areas are a plus
- Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification preferred
