Travel Clinical Pharmacist - Black Eagle, MT

An interim leadership role is available for a Director of Pharmacy at a hospital in Black Eagle, MT, serving the Great Falls community. This travel position calls for an experienced clinical pharmacist ready to take on the role of Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and provide strong pharmacy department oversight. The assignment begins ASAP and is anticipated to last at least three months, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding weekends and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing a small pharmacy team consisting of 2-3 full-time pharmacists
• Overseeing pharmacy operations and services across the hospital and outpatient clinics
• Driving ongoing projects such as the clean room renovation and pharmacy-related IT initiatives with MEDITECH
• Performing financial analysis for the infusion center to ensure fiscal responsibility
• Stabilizing the department through effective leadership and professionalism

Desired qualifications:

• Current Montana pharmacist license (required)
• Experience in hospital pharmacy management, ideally including outpatient clinic and surgical hospital settings
• Proven leadership skills capable of guiding a small pharmacy staff and managing multiple projects
• Familiarity with Touchpoint automation system is preferred
