Inpatient Pharmacist

Looking for your next hospital travel opportunity? A community hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist to join their inpatient team for a 13+ week assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically strong pharmacist who thrives in a collaborative hospital environment and is flexible with scheduling.

Position Details

• 13+ week travel contract
• Full time hours with competitive weekly pay
• Full time benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc.
• Monday-Friday day shifts (starting at 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM)
• Every 4th weekend required
• Flexibility to transition to a 2nd shift schedule (11:45 AM - 10:15 PM, 10-hour shifts) if needed

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders and ensure safe, accurate dispensing
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Review clinical therapies and provide pharmacotherapy recommendations
• Support IV medication management using MedKeeper
• Utilize Meditech and Omnicell in daily pharmacy operations
• Assist with inpatient pharmacy workflow and patient care initiatives

Requirements

• Active Texas Pharmacist license
• Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong clinical pharmacy experience required
• Decentralized ICU experience strongly desired
• Experience with Meditech, MedKeeper, and Omnicell
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including every 4th weekend and potential shift changes
