Clinical Pharmacist in Broken Arrow, OK

This opportunity is tailored for a Clinical Pharmacist with a focus on inpatient care, located in Broken Arrow, OK. The role offers a 13-week contract to hire arrangement, ideal for pharmacists seeking a dynamic work environment within a 450-bed facility utilizing advanced pharmacy automation systems.

Schedule:

• 4x10-hour shifts
• Days/Evenings: 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring accuracy and efficiency in medication distribution
• Prepare and verify intravenous (IV) medications, performing hands-on IV prep duties
• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy tasks supporting patient care
• Utilize EPIC EMR for medication orders and documentation
• Manage automation systems including Pyxis and Carousel for medication dispensing

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Oklahoma with license in-hand
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Proficient in IV preparation and verification
• BLS certification required
• Experience working with EPIC EMR and pharmacy automation equipment preferred
