Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist | Bronx, New York

A per diem opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support a pharmacy located in a densely populated Hasidic Jewish neighborhood in the Bronx, NY. This position offers the chance to provide essential outpatient and retail pharmacy services while working in a newer pharmacy environment with manageable prescription volume and dedicated technician support.

Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule:

• Saturday 5/16: 4 PM – 12 AM
• Saturday 5/23: 4 PM – 12 AM
• Saturday 5/30: 10 AM – 6 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical outpatient/retail pharmacy duties including filling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Conduct patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Manage pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow and compliance.
• Provide immunizations (must hold NYS immunization privileges).
• Handle pharmacy opening and closing procedures with confidence.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Retail pharmacy experience, specifically with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy management software is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Capability to work independently during per diem shifts.
• Must possess NYS immunization certification to administer vaccines.
