Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist in Bronx, NY

A per diem Clinical Pharmacist position is available to provide coverage at a pharmacy located in a highly populated Hasidic Jewish neighborhood. This role involves delivering comprehensive outpatient pharmacy services with manageable prescription volume and full technician support.

Location: Bronx, NY

Schedule:

• Saturday 5/16, 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
• Saturday 5/23, 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
• Saturday 5/30, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Providing patient consultations and guidance
• Managing pharmacy technicians and daily operations
• Administering immunizations (NYS immunization privilege required)
• Opening and closing the pharmacy during retail hours

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting with demonstrated ability to open and close the pharmacy independently
• NYS immunization privilege required for administering vaccines
• Familiarity with Rx30 software is highly preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage support staff effectively
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
