Per Diem Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Bronx, New York

Provide essential clinical pharmacy services in a well-established outpatient setting serving a vibrant Hasidic Jewish community. This per diem position requires expertise in retail pharmacy operations and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform prescription filling and dispensing with precision and accuracy.
• Conduct patient consultations to ensure proper medication use and optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Administer immunizations, requiring current New York State immunization privileges.
• Open and close the pharmacy according to operational protocols.
• Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing; experience with Rx30 is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Clinical Pharmacist in New York State.
• Demonstrated retail pharmacy experience, including opening and closing pharmacy responsibilities.
• Valid NYS immunization certification.
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a culturally diverse community.

Schedule:

• Saturday, 5/16, 4 PM – 12 AM
• Saturday, 5/23, 4 PM – 12 AM
• Saturday, 5/30, 10 AM – 6 PM

Location:

• Situated in the Bronx, NY, serving a densely populated Hasidic Jewish neighborhood.

This role includes tech support and a manageable prescription volume in a newer pharmacy setting, enabling focus on quality patient care.
