Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist - Bronx, New York

A per diem opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide essential coverage in a busy outpatient pharmacy located in a vibrant Hasidic Jewish community. This role involves typical retail pharmacy responsibilities within a well-supported and manageable volume environment. Candidates with strong clinical skills and the ability to oversee pharmacy operations during opening and closing shifts are highly valued.

Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule:

• Saturday 5/16, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday 5/23, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday 5/30, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Conduct patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Manage pharmacy technicians and oversee daily workflow
• Provide immunizations (NYS immunization privilege required)
• Open and close pharmacy shifts as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

• NYS licensed pharmacist with valid immunization privileges
• Demonstrated retail pharmacy experience, specifically in opening and closing operations
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to operate confidently in a culturally unique and densely populated community setting
