Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist in Brooklyn, NY

A per diem opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide essential coverage at a well-established outpatient pharmacy located in a densely populated Hasidic Jewish neighborhood. This role accommodates flexible availability, focusing on weekend shifts that allow you to maintain a balanced schedule while delivering quality pharmaceutical care.

Schedule:

• Saturday 5/16: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday 5/23: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday 5/30: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical outpatient and retail pharmacy duties including accurate filling and dispensing of prescriptions
• Conduct patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
• Administer immunizations, requiring valid New York State immunization privilege
• Open and close the pharmacy in adherence to operational standards

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Proven retail pharmacy experience, specifically with opening and closing responsibilities
• Familiarity with Rx30 software is strongly preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work effectively in a dependable and patient-focused manner
• Commitment to providing culturally competent care in a unique neighborhood setting
