Per Diem Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Brooklyn, New York

A Per Diem clinical pharmacist position is available in a bustling neighborhood pharmacy serving the Hasidic Jewish community. This role requires reliable coverage on select Saturdays, offering the opportunity to work in a well-supported, manageable volume pharmacy environment.

Location:

• Brooklyn, NY

Schedule:

• Saturday 5/16: 4 PM – 12 AM
• Saturday 5/23: 4 PM – 12 AM
• Saturday 5/30: 10 AM – 6 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical outpatient and retail pharmacy tasks including filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Conduct patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Manage pharmacy technicians and workflow during shifts
• Provide immunizations (NYS immunization privilege required)
• Assist with opening and closing pharmacy operations

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Previous retail pharmacy experience, including opening and closing duties
• NYS immunization certification
• Familiarity with Rx30 software preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Additional Information:

• Pharmacy tech support is available during shifts
• The pharmacy is newer with a manageable prescription volume, conducive to focused clinical practice
