An experienced Infusion Pharmacist is needed to support a dynamic pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC. This per diem contract role offers immediate shifts with the potential for a long-term or permanent position. Candidates with a solid background in home infusion and sterile compounding will excel in this fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Location: Greensboro, NC
Job Type: Per Diem (Contract with potential to convert to permanent)
Schedule:

  • Immediate shifts: April 8, 9, 10
  • Week of April 27 – May 1: Minimum two days
  • Additional dates to be confirmed, generally a few days per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify medication orders specifically for infusion therapies
  • Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
  • Ensure strict compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards
  • Provide clinical drug information and support to healthcare staff and patients
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow efficiency and patient safety
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice
  • Proficiency in sterile compounding practices
  • Thorough knowledge of USP <797> and <800> regulations
  • Ability to work independently with adaptability in a fast-paced setting

Additional Information:

  • Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) duties are not required during contract unless converted to permanent status
  • Willingness to serve as PIC if offered permanent hire is expected
