Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist - Burlington, North Carolina

An immediate opening is available for an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Greensboro, NC. This contract opportunity targets professionals with a strong background in home infusion and sterile compounding. The role requires working in a dynamic, patient-centered environment with potential for long-term placement or permanent hire.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and verifying medication orders for infusion therapies
• Overseeing preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensuring compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards
• Providing clinical support and drug information to staff and patients
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow and ensure patient safety
• Maintaining accurate documentation and regulatory compliance

Schedule/Shift:

• Immediate needs on April 8, 9, and 10
• At least 2 days needed during the week of April 27 to May 1
• Additional shifts likely a few days each week, with further dates to be confirmed

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy
• Strong sterile compounding skills and familiarity with USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Ability to work independently and adapt swiftly in a fast-paced environment

Additional Details:

• Serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) is not required during the contract assignment but may be expected if converted to permanent hire
• Candidates must be willing to assume PIC responsibilities if hired permanently
• This is a per diem contract assignment with opportunity for temp-to-perm placement
