A 13-week temp-to-hire opportunity is available for a Compounding Pharmacist in the Greensboro, NC area. This role is designed for licensed pharmacists who have a passion for compounding and want to work in a dynamic clinical pharmacy setting. The position offers collaboration with healthcare professionals to deliver personalized patient care focused on compounded medications.

Schedule and Hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Every third Saturday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 30-minute lunch break daily

Location: Greensboro, NC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense sterile and non-sterile compounded prescriptions with accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to tailor pharmaceutical care to patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory efficiently.
  • Provide expert advice and counseling to patients to optimize health outcomes.
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and supervising pharmacy technician staff.
  • Work within regulatory guidelines, including USP 795, 797, and 800 standards for compounding.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina.
  • 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates with a strong interest in compounding are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of USP compounding standards (USP 795, 797, and 800).
  • Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
  • Willingness to learn pharmacy software PK (training provided).
