Location: Burney, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Duration: 13-week contract, starting ASAP
Reports To: Chief Clinical Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all retail pharmaceutical services including procurement, distribution, and storage of medications.
  • Accurately compound and dispense medications, ensuring compliance with prescriptions and regulations.
  • Counsel patients on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
  • Maintain quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and appropriate waste disposal.
  • Lead pharmacy staff and interns, ensuring adherence to legal pharmacist-to-staff ratios.
  • Foster strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals to enhance community health.
  • Manage pharmacy records, billing, and third-party insurance processes efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local pharmacy regulations and continuing education requirements.
  • Engage with community healthcare initiatives and customer service programs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of California.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited college.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to upholding professional standards and confidentiality.
