Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication therapy management and patient counseling.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication use and ensure patient safety.
- Oversee medication dispensing in the hospital setting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to developing treatment plans.
- Monitor drug therapies and adjust recommendations based on patient response.
- Maintain thorough documentation of pharmacy activities and patient care interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico pharmacist license is required.
- Experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred, especially in clinical roles.
- Strong knowledge of medication protocols, pharmacy regulations, and patient safety standards.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and professional judgment.
