Clinical Pharmacist in Camarillo, CA

A clinical pharmacist is needed to support an infusion pharmacy in Ventura County specializing in a variety of medication classes, including chemotherapy and oncology treatments. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm with no nights or weekends, providing a balanced workweek.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and review medications, with a focus on infusion therapies
• Monitor patient treatments and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication use
• Manage medication inventory and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Provide clinical guidance related to chemotherapy and oncology medications
• Educate patients and staff on safe medication practices and side effect management

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Experience in oncology or chemotherapy infusion preferred
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices related to infusion therapies
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
