Clinical Pharmacist - Cameron, AZ

A Clinical Pharmacist opportunity is available on a 13-week contract basis, starting ASAP, to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services. This role supports inpatient, outpatient, and specialty clinic settings at a regional health care center serving a culturally diverse community in Northwestern Arizona.

Shift details include a 4/10-hour day schedule with rotating shifts that may start at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, or 12:00 pm, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The schedule and days off (RDO) can fluctuate based on operational needs. No Arizona state license is required for this position. Limited shared housing is available at $600 per month; however, family and pets are not allowed as per hospital policy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and clinical pharmacy services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients.
• Ensure consistent medication management adhering to facility policies.
• Participate in rotational shifts across main campus and satellite clinics.
• Support advancement to senior clinical pharmacist roles through experience and demonstrated expertise.
• Manage pharmacy operations, supervising pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers.
• Develop and administer pharmacy programs to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Current valid and unrestricted pharmacist license in any US state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Minimum two years as a Registered Pharmacist.
• At least one year as a Clinical Pharmacist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start.
