This opportunity offers a dynamic clinical pharmacist role at a respected regional healthcare center serving a culturally diverse community. The position is based in a unique semi-desert environment and supports a wide spectrum of patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and specialized clinics.

Location: Northwestern Arizona (Cameron area)

Type: 13-week contract
Start: ASAP
Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week (4/10 schedule)
  • Flexible shift start times at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, or 12:00 pm
  • Rotational shifts including weekdays, weekends, and potential holidays
  • Regular days off (RDO) may fluctuate

Housing: Limited shared housing available at $600/month, no family or pets allowed due to facility policy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical and medication management services across neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients
  • Deliver direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participate in rotational shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Opportunity for career advancement to Advanced Practice Pharmacist roles with specialized clinical responsibilities and administrative oversight
  • Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with policies and high-quality care delivery
  • Oversee operations at designated clinics and develop clinical programs aligned with organizational standards

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution
  • Current valid, unrestricted pharmacist license from any U.S. state, territory, or district
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 2 years as a Registered Pharmacist, including at least 1 year in clinical pharmacy
  • Fingerprinting clearance required before start
