Clinical Pharmacist in Cedar Rapids, IA

A healthcare facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to fulfill a contract assignment with potential for temp-to-hire conversion. This role requires expertise in oncology pharmacy practices and a dedication to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and clinical judgment
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff on patient care
• Monitor pharmacokinetics and adjust therapies as needed for optimal outcomes
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system to document and review patient information

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist or eligible for an Iowa temporary pharmacist license
• Demonstrated experience in chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy
• Proficient with EPIC or similar pharmacy IT systems
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

This contract position begins as soon as possible and is scheduled for 13 weeks. Candidates should have flexibility to start quickly.
