Inpatient Pharmacist

Position Details

• Start: ASAP / sooner than later
• Duration: 13 weeks+
• Employment Options: Travel, temp-to-hire, or permanent
• Schedule: Day shifts
• Pharmacy Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Sunday: Closed
• Technology: Cerner, Omnicell

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
• Consult with physicians regarding medication therapy
• Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing
• Support daily pharmacy operations and patient care
• Ensure medications are dispensed accurately and safely
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize medication therapy

Requirements

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist License required
• Pharmacist experience in a pharmacy setting
• Ability to work day shifts and occasional Saturdays
• Strong medication verification and clinical skills
• Comfortable working with Cerner and Omnicell
• Ability to work effectively with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals
