Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - Community Hospital Travel Contract

Soliant has an opening for an Inpatient Staff Pharmacist for a 13 week travel contract at an 80 bed community hospital in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Employment Type: Travel Contract

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Work Hours: Day Shift, 40 hours per week

Industry: Healthcare / Hospital Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technician staff throughout the shift
• Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapy and patient care needs
• Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments for targeted medications
• Ensure safe medication dispensing and regulatory compliance throughout daily operations

Experience

• Hospital pharmacy experience required
• Community hospital experience a plus
• Leave coverage or quick start travel experience preferred

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to integrate quickly into a new team
• Effective communicator with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff
• Reliable and adaptable in a community hospital environment
• Comfortable working independently on day shift

Qualifications

• Active Wyoming Pharmacist License preferred, temp license will be considered for the right candidate

• Hospital pharmacy experience required

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
