A healthcare facility in Chicago, IL, is seeking a skilled Night Pharmacist for a 13-week contract with the potential for extension. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a hospital setting and has a strong background in pediatric care, particularly with experience in weight-based dosing.

Schedule: Nights, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM, working 7 days on, 7 days off
Duration: 13 weeks or longer

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services during night shifts in a busy pediatric hospital environment
- Prepare, verify, and dispense medications ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols
- Collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and other healthcare teams to optimize pediatric patient care
- Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems for order verification and medication management
- Support pediatric patients and families through accurate, weight-based dosing and medication counseling
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Illinois Pharmacist license required
- Proven hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a pediatric setting
- Comfortable and experienced with pediatric patients and dosing protocols
- Knowledgeable in using hospital IT systems such as EPIC and Omnicell
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night shifts
