Clinical Pharmacist | Chicago, Illinois

A healthcare facility in Madison, WI is seeking experienced inpatient pharmacists to support its clinical pharmacy services over a 13-week contract starting June 8th. This role offers a dynamic schedule with a mix of day shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) and evening shifts (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM), working five 8-hour shifts per week and rotating every third weekend.

Responsibilities include managing pharmacotherapy for acute care patients, performing pharmacokinetic and renal dosing calculations, monitoring therapeutic medication levels, and addressing drug shortages. Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records is required to ensure accurate and timely documentation. The position demands at least two years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience to provide high-quality medication management.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years inpatient/acute care pharmacy experience
• Expertise in pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, and therapeutic medication monitoring
• Experience with drug shortage management and pharmacotherapy for diverse medical conditions
• Proficiency using EPIC electronic medical records system
• Active Wisconsin pharmacy license or ACT-10 license accepted

Additional Important Information:

• Travelers must comply with mask shaving requirements for Fit Testing, as alternative respiratory protection (CAPRs/PAPRs) is not permitted.
• Scrubs will be provided upon start of assignment.
