Clinical Pharmacist - Chicago, IL

A healthcare facility in the Madison, WI area seeks experienced inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting June 8. This role involves a mix of day and evening shifts, working five 8-hour shifts per week with rotating every third weekend. Candidates with a minimum of two years of recent inpatient experience will excel in this position.

Location: Madison, WI
Schedule:

• Mix of days (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and evenings (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
• 5x8-hour shifts per week
• Rotating every 3rd weekend

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient/acute care setting
• Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments
• Monitor therapeutic medication regimens
• Manage drug shortages effectively
• Deliver pharmacotherapy management for varied medical problems
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and communication

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• At least 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with pharmacokinetic and renal dosing
• Familiarity with therapeutic medication monitoring and drug shortage management
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Wisconsin ACT-10 license acceptable

Additional Requirements:

• Must comply with mask fit testing protocols; shaving is mandatory to ensure proper mask seal
• Use of personal PAPRs or CAPRs not permitted; facility-provided scrubs supplied once employment begins
