Clinical Pharmacist in Chicago, IL

A healthcare facility in Madison, WI is seeking experienced inpatient clinical pharmacists for a 13-week contract assignment starting June 8th. This role offers the opportunity to contribute in an acute care setting while working a dynamic rotating schedule.

Schedule & Location:

• Work a blend of day (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and evening (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) shifts
• Five 8-hour shifts per week, rotating every third weekend
• Based in Madison, Wisconsin

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing specialized pharmaceutical care in an inpatient hospital environment
• Apply pharmacokinetic and renal dosing expertise to optimize medication therapies
• Oversee therapeutic medication monitoring and address drug shortages proactively
• Manage pharmacotherapy tailored for complex medical conditions
• Utilize EPIC EMR systems effectively in daily clinical operations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in pharmacotherapy management, dosing calculations, and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Licensed in Wisconsin or hold an ACT-10 license eligibility
• Must comply with fit testing requirements for mask-wearing; no alternative respiratory protection devices permitted
