Clinical Pharmacist | Chicago, Illinois

Seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient services at a major medical center in Chicago, IL. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, beginning mid-June, with overnight shifts designed for professionals comfortable working independently and overseeing pharmacy operations during off-hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including medication order checking and verification.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Verify and check intravenous (IV) preparations.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and communication.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience required.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain patient safety.
• Ability to work overnight shifts reliably and independently.

Location:

• Chicago, IL – on-site at the medical center’s main campus.

Schedule:

• 4 overnight shifts, 10 hours each: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
