Clinical Pharmacist in Chicago, IL

Over a 13-week period—with the possibility of extension—you will rotate through first and second shifts, providing critical clinical pharmacy services that enhance patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize medication therapy in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective drug use.
• Utilize Cerner for accurate documentation, medication orders, and patient monitoring.
• Participate actively in clinical rounds and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions.
• Rotate shifts between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM, including weekends, ensuring continuous pharmacy support.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is essential.
• Oncology experience is preferred to support specialized patient care.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is a plus.
• Active Illinois pharmacy license required.

Schedule:

• Rotating first and second shifts.
• Weekend rotation required.
