Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize medication therapy in an inpatient hospital setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective drug use.
- Utilize Cerner for accurate documentation, medication orders, and patient monitoring.
- Participate actively in clinical rounds and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions.
- Rotate shifts between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM, including weekends, ensuring continuous pharmacy support.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is essential.
- Oncology experience is preferred to support specialized patient care.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is a plus.
- Active Illinois pharmacy license required.
Schedule:
- Rotating first and second shifts.
- Weekend rotation required.
