Clinical Pharmacist | Chico, California

Provide expert clinical pharmacy care in a hospital inpatient setting, ensuring patients receive safe and effective medication therapy. This contract position is based in Chico, CA, at a well-established medical center, beginning ASAP for 13 weeks. The role involves 10-hour day shifts with varied start times, working within an electronic medical record system (EPIC).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional pharmacy services including clinical judgment and medication distribution.
• Identify, resolve, and prevent drug-related problems in close collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations.
• Apply comprehensive drug knowledge to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Pharmacist license in the State of California.
• Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy experience in an inpatient, decentralized setting.
• Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems and Windows OS.
• Strong clinical judgment and drug knowledge application.
