Clinical Pharmacist in Chloride, AZ

This opportunity is for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to contribute expertise in an outpatient pharmacy setting. The position involves a contract assignment beginning mid-July, with a duration of approximately 13 weeks or more. The role is based in Chloride, AZ, with a primary focus on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care in an outpatient environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Shift timing is variable between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
• Primarily scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities include verifying, filling, and checking prescriptions to ensure accuracy and safety. The pharmacist will provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians and engage in patient counseling to promote proper medication use and adherence.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona pharmacist license is required
• Minimum of 5 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Proven ability in managing prescription workflows and supervising pharmacy staff
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction
