Clinical Pharmacist in Chula Vista, CA

This full-time clinical pharmacist position offers an engaging opportunity in a specialized mail order pharmacy setting focused on diabetic medical supplies, including continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps. The role involves product verification and fulfillment of boxed items, requiring a detail-oriented and collaborative pharmacist to support a busy but manageable workload of approximately 20 orders per day.

Location:
Chula Vista, CA (2084 Otay Lake Road)

Schedule:

• Pharmacy hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (may need to stay until work is completed)
• Full-time commitment, contract position (minimum 13 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify products and fulfill orders of CGMs and insulin pumps
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Utilize the Brightree program system with provided training
• Ensure accuracy and quality in all order processing tasks
• Support a cohesive team environment alongside 3 pharmacists, 5 technicians, a clerk, and a driver

Desired Qualifications:

• Active CA State Pharmacist License in good standing (no negative history)
• Strong background in mail order or retail pharmacy, with retail filling experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to adapt to a unique, non-traditional mail order workflow
