Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services in a unique mail order setting focused on diabetic medical supplies, including continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps. This role supports the fulfillment and verification of boxed items in a specialized pharmacy environment built around detailed, careful processing rather than high-volume dispensing.

Location: Chula Vista, CA

Schedule:

  • Full-time, pharmacy hours 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (may extend to 8 PM depending on workload)

Responsibilities:

  • Verify and fulfill orders for CGMs, insulin pumps, and related diabetic medical supplies
  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated team including pharmacists, technicians, clerks, and drivers
  • Navigate and operate the proprietary Brightree program system with training provided
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all aspects of product processing and patient service
  • Provide excellent communication and coordination within the team to maintain smooth operations

Qualifications:

  • Valid California State Pharmacist License in good standing, with no negative history
  • Experience in mail order and/or retail pharmacy environments, with a preference for retail filling expertise
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Ability to adapt to a specialized, detail-oriented workflow focused on diabetic medical devices

Additional Details:

  • Work alongside an experienced team offering technical support; you will never work alone
  • Opportunity to apply for a permanent site manager position if holding multiple pharmacist licenses, though candidates with a single CA license are welcomed
  • The current pharmacist is transitioning; immediate availability is a plus
